Our Story

Our story begins years ago. My mother instilled a love of plants in me from an early age, which has only grown over time. When I was a child, I remember planting corn in a small patch in the backyard, and watching in awe as it sprouted and grew into tall stalks. It was incredible to see something that I had grown with my own two hands. Years ago, I grew flowers in pots on my apartment balcony, and only dreamed of more; more space, more blooms.

Going through some really huge work and life stressors, flowers were my outlet. They were my one place where I could go and not think about life, but just awe at the beauty of blooms. At this point in time, I had a backyard, and could grow a lot more blooms! It was then that I realized I wanted to spread this joy to others; I was going to open a flower stand and brighten other’s days with colorful blooms I had grown. How and when was still yet to be determined.

In 2022, my sister got married and her wedding included 300 people! I had the opportunity to grow and arrange the flowers for all the tables. My little garden flower patch didn’t have enough blooms, so we had to augment with flowers from another local flower enthusiast. But I learned a lot and had the time of my life working with the vibrant colors I had grown myself.

Opening a flower stand has been a dream of mine for years, but it hasn’t been possible until now due to life circumstance. Life is funny that way. I have been lucky to have met an absolutely incredible life partner who has helped make that dream come true. Flowers have helped me get through some seriously tough times in life, and I want nothing more than to share the beauty of blooms with others – to brighten their day and make them smile.

We are a first-year neighborhood floral stand located in Albany, OR. We do small batch bouquets made solely from homegrown flowers. We have a weekly flower stand and do custom orders.
